When a rare Leonardo Da Vinci painting was on view at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee really took notice. Now, the whole country can take note because MAM is one of just three American museums showing Raphael’s “The Woman and the Veil,” on loan from Florence, Italy’s Pitti Palace. The painting will be exhibited here in a one-work show that runs from March 27 through June 6 in the museum’s Koss Gallery.
